[b]Christian Guay-Poliquin [/b](born 1982) is a Canadian novelist from Quebec. Guay-Poliquin was born in Saint-Armand, Quebec. His second novel, [i]Le Poids de la neige[/i], won the Governor General's Award for French-language fiction at the 2017 Governor General's Awards. The novel also won the 2017 Prix des collégiens and the 2017 Prix France-Québec.
