Joanna Scott is the author of thirteen books, including the novels [i]Arrogance[/i] (Simon & Schuster), [i]The Manikin[/i] (Henry Holt), and [i]Careers for Women[/i] (Little, Brown), and three collections of short fiction, [i]Excuse Me While I Disappear[/i] (forthcoming from Little, Brown in April, 2021), [i]Various Antidotes[/i] (Henry Holt), and [i]Everybody Loves Somebody[/i] (Back Bay). She is the recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, a Lannan Literary Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
